Dr. Ashleigh is excited to pursue her dream of owning and operating a house call practice.  She shares her love of the human-animal bond with her clients and strives to strengthen that bond by keeping pets happy and healthy throughout all stages of their lives.

Originally from Newmarket, Dr. Ashleigh has settled in Collingwood with her husband, 2 children and their rescued cats, Rona and Jinx.  In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors enjoying all the benefits of living in the Georgian Bay area with her family.

Kathleen Marling

Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician

Growing up, Kathleen always knew she wanted to follow a career path with animals and started working in the Veterinary field at 13 years of age.  She has had the privilege of working in many different types of practices, including: emergency medicine, general practice and both large and small animal mobile.

Kathleen graduated from college with a diploma in Agriculture, with a specialty in Equine Technology.  Her career has led her down various paths and enabled her to network with countless people in the industry.  These relationships and the invaluable experience she has garnered through the years have enabled her to work at the top of her profession, as she continues to do what she loves to do every day.

Kathleen and her husband have 3 children and live in Clearview Township. They share their small hobby farm with 2 wire hair Jack Russels (Oliver and Sargent), two cats (Alistair and Kibbles), two ducks (Doofenschmirtz and Mrs. Puddleduck), and a Lop ear bunny named Theodore; all of which are foundlings for one reason or another.  The farm is also home to an Appaloosa named Ceilidh and several chickens who entertain with their antics everyday!

Kathleen is excited for the opportunity to work with Dr. Ashleigh for a second time in her career, this time at Pretty River Mobile Veterinary Services, and join her in this new adventure.  She looks forward to meeting all of you and your furry family members, working along with the PRMVS team and doing all she can to keep your pets happy and healthy!
